Mission Hills Country Club
(Home of the LPGA's Major Championship - ANA Inspiration)
Rancho Mirage/Palm Springs
The longest running tournament in our club's history is returning to the world famous Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage (Palm Springs), CA. In April, the LPGA's 1st major of 2020, the ANA Inspiration golf tournament, will be played there. The following month our 50th MDWGT will be played on this prestigious, beautiful and renown property and course. Come join us for the golf, fun and aloha spirit!

Golf will be the same as previous years (the Arnold Palmer course on Saturday, the 23rd; and the Dinah Shore Tournament course on Sunday, the 24th), except this year there is a growing desire for some to play Mission Hills CC's toughest course, the Pete Dye course, as a ďcompetitiveĒ practice round on Friday. Our Sunday awards banquet buffet at the clubhouse will have a few surprises and extras as we celebrate our golden MDWGT anniversary.

44th Annual Hawaiian Menʻs Statewide Golf Tournament

Les Hiranaka (President, Kauai Hawaiian Men's Club)

Sun, May 17, 2020

to tjsandi1, Sonny, Orik, me, Jay, Fred, Eric, Doug, Charles, Noa

Aloha Gentlemen,

The decision we share with you today is one of the single most difficult and heartbreaking weíve had to make.

The Kauai Hawaiian Menʻs Club has decided to cancel the 44th Annual Hawaiian Menʻs Statewide Golf Tournament.

As much as we desperately want to go on as planned, we recognize that we must put the health and safety of our club members, vendors and sponsors first.  As weʻve watched the Covid-19 Pandemic unfold, with all the uncertainty for the near future, we could not in good conscience hold a tournament.

Please notify all of your members to stop sending in registrations.  For those who have already sent in registrations with payments, refund checks will be mailed.  All others will have their checks returned to them.

We look forward to hosting in the near future.

Aloha and Mahalo
